Coded Feelings (Written by: Poet Dela & Inspired by: Odehyie EdufuI)

If slowly the muddy pool
becomes a river
Then slowly my admiration for Ohema would turn into love
And if my mother's illness becomes the source of her death
Then I guess my heartbreak would definitely make me heartless
Both my experience and misconception about love
Had made a pure and innovative mind become polluted and contaminated
The scar left in my heart
has made everything related to love
be percieved as evil to me
Even the word love which consist of four letter words turns to have trust issues with me
Now I hate every word which has Four letter words
Hmmmm...
I now HATE every girl
I condemn everything I used to LUST about
I ENVY every successful relationship
and infact,
the taste and aroma of FOOD makes me want to throw up
It is said that every problem has a remedy
Mine is no different because, I'm just not ready
Maybe I'm just not ready to give out the space belonging to My Ohema in my heart
The hope of a reunion is harboured
Past memories and sweet moments are still admired
The taste of her kisses still remains part of my cravings
and the smell of her perfume is still percieved even though she is miles away
Now I believe love exist no more
But I might have a change in mind
A change in mind, might only happen
If my Ohema finds the route to her rightful place in my heart
Then my doubt for love won't be harboured any more.

A New Chapter (By: Poet Dela)

Being flipping through the pages
Trying to know what's old and new
New stories making the headlines
Old stories buried in the archives
Day in Day out
Creativity and innovation are being conceived
Hard work and zeal gets paid
Indeed goals and plans are made
But, realization becomes the headache.
Invest in your hard work
Be passion driven
Grind for the legal paper
And invest in your labour
The journey begins with a single step
Along the line
New characters are witnessed
New friends are made
Rivalry sets in
Pride, the Villain of the day
And new friendship bonded
Don't just make a change.
Impact the change!

The best Christmas gift ever was from the Poetic Yesu

The words and wisdom scribed with the ink
Would make you put on your thinking caps on
The warm reception in woe z)
Made she is my type and bitter truth Pierce your heart with a sword
Then Lolonyo indeed made us feel love
Whiles Gankui made you see the real definition of Love
But at the end of the day
Belike now here Cool made Lolonyo slay
Bigups to Reuben and Maame Agyeiwaa for the collaboration
To my proof readers I say Ayekoo

Gankui (by: Poet Dela)

My sight knows beauty no more
My eyes the architect of my misfortunes
My shades becomes part of my fortunes
I'm blinded by the rays of love

For a second
I thought I was lost
In a new world full of new laws
A world infested with lots  of beauty
I always gaze and zoom at their booty

Wait a minute...
I got betrayed by my extravagant glasses
Now all I view and see are lies
One of my senses gets tainted

Maybe I chose an oversized eyewear
A habitat belonging to germs
Now writings about love becomes distorted
And love at first sight becomes a mirage.

THE REAL HER

An era of beauty
Slowly perishes
A generation of
Indecent femines
Slowly emerges

Future mothers become
Future burdens
The pride of an African lady
Becomes obselete

Beauty without brains become rampant
Selfies, Likes and followers becomes relevant
Ohema facebooks instead of facing her books

She exposes her body on Instagram
Instead of exposing her intelligence
Snap chatting turns into a habit
She slowly becomes a phone addict

Parties, shows and concerts
becomes her interest
Cooking, praying and fellowships turns into her stress
She doubts her beauty
Just because her Instagram likes are just a few

Makeup and looks turns into a priority
Prayer and her books become her minority
After breakups
A soft heart becomes stone
An innocent soul becomes evil
And revenge turns into an aim

After the lust for material things
Dignity is lost
Self-esteem falls at it's lowest peak
And
Disgrace a companion

Ohema's new appearance
Amazes me
I guess
The real her has been traded
For something else.

THE NATURE OF THE BLIND (by: Tetteh Sackey X Poet Dela)

I woke up,
On an unknown time,
The world looked darkened to me,
I thought it was still late in the night,
I tried to get a little light to make me happy,

Rather,
Darkness smiled at me,
I was narked when it smiled to me,
Because I was the mzee around,
Hardily did I notice?
Blindness has hugged me,
Therefore I cried for help,

Because,
My new world was more darkened than my natural world,
My natural world was nebulous,
But now,
It is beyond that,
Oh people! Oh friends! Oh family!
I’m I now a stranger to my society?
I’m I now a rejected of my friends?

My sight becomes visionless
Destinations become mirages
Deprived to view
What nature offers
My senses loses a brother

I’m I not like you?
Why do we get such treatments?
Warders and wardresses are being assigned to confine us,
As if, we are prisoners,
You who think you are a world-beater,
Hear us! We form part of the world,
The world is incomplete without our presence,

We are given war-farin,
Not in the intention of treating thrombosis,
But,
We are likened to rats,
Arise oh strong, arise oh weak, arise oh humans,
For our living does not depend on you,

But,
A Mighty Hand,
We may be friends to darkness,
But are friends to a great light,
We may be blind but our senses work,
We may be sad but rivers of love flows within us,
We may be blind but are saved from the sins of the eyes,
Smile oh companions, smile oh friends,
We are always at the fore,
But,
Nobody notices us.
