DEDICATED TO EACH AND EVERYONE WHO CHANCES ON THIS PIECE. ✊🏾
Just few hours to the start of a New Year,
At 10:00pm,
the church witnessed a great-feast.
Gratitude for “Nyame’s” endless
and unlimited grace.
Prayer points focused on a better year.
At midnight, fireworks took over the skies.
Screams from the
Presbyterian Church could be
heard miles away.
The congregation danced
their hearts out to music from the
Winneba Youth Choir.
Mobile phones buzzed with
goodwill messages.
As usual,
January displayed its obtuse character.
February brought lots of love into the air.
Patriotism was given birth to by March.
"Yɛn Ara Asase Ni" was on the lips of
most Ghanaians.
Then suddenly,
a huge storm hit our planet,
Fear engulfs the heart of the Ghanaian.
Alcohol based hand
sanitizers and nose masks
becomes mandatory.
Restrictions on movements
was the only way out.
Death and it’s entourage paid
visits to the homes of
our loved and mighty ones.
Fear, preventive tips and
protests became the new normal.
But the light of a brighter
day is what we yearn for!
Hope . Yesu.
